Spring has sprung and new life has begun. As we come out of the dark and cold conditions of Winter and into the light and warm conditions of Spring it is the perfect time to nurture our internal environment while enjoying the external environment. We all start feeling Spring Fever and want to be more outdoors in nature.
Along with Spring comes aggravations like mucous conditions, sinusitis, allergies, congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes, rashes, sore throats and more sensitivity in our respiratory system.
Begin with Mukha Abhyanga (Facial Oiling). This video is from the school in Kerala, India where I studied at last year.

I am pleased to announce that I am now offering Ayurveda Counseling and Therapy Services in addition to Yoga Therapy. They are considered sister sciences and work together to provide an integrative holistic healthcare approach for the whole body mind complex.
Ayurveda is a holistic system of healing which gives us the real knowledge on how to know oneself and lead a healthy long life. One of my professors stated, “Know who you are.” This statement profoundly resonated with me.
Once you know who you are then you can begin to understand what is going right and wrong with yourself and learn what habits to develop and discard to bring balance and harmony in the body mind complex.

The true value of Yoga is a clear path for understanding one’s true nature for Self-realization, not limiting yourself to asanas for physical fitness and stress management. We have a dual mind one that is attached to the five senses and the second mind which is the higher intellect that uses discernment and willpower to overcome being a slave to your senses.
Yoga brings the self from being imprisoned by the mind so the mind and Self are one with the body and there is no division between body, mind, and Self. (Self with a capital S meaning your highest self).

I would like to add our newest offerings of sound healing with Indian Classical Music. My husband Jimmy and I owe profound gratitude and love to our teachers Deobrat Mishra and Prashant Mishra for teaching and sharing the ancient knowledge of traditional Indian Classical Music they are so deeply rooted in.
We may not ever achieve their level of expertise in this lifetime but we will die trying. The music takes you to the depths of the unknown and reveals so much from a place of longing and fulfillment. This music literally pulls at the string of your heart so much that Jimmy and I named our performance presentations Strings of the Heart. I have been SO amazed at the strength, balance, and flexibility I have gained through yoga training with Lynn!!! Never a flexible child, I got even stiffer with years of wearing high heels, but, with time and practice I recently did a BACKBEND- yes, really!! Yoga is truly a journey, and I can hardly wait to see where it take me next! Practicing yoga for 2 years, age 50 ish.

When I started with Lynn I was out of shape and lacking flexibility, but Lynn’s enthusiasm, excellent instruction and the warm atmosphere of the classes helped me to keep on through the challenges. And I always felt great, especially after the class was completed! That was probably three years ago, now I’m a regular at Lynn’s group classes and have an individual session with Lynn once a week. I’m 47 and was starting to feel some twinges in the joints, I’d complained to my doctor about some hip pain, but through my regular yoga practice my hip pain and joint twinges are now gone. I’m still no athlete, nor at my ideal weight, but I am stronger and feel much better because of my regular yoga practice. I’d like to particularly recommend individual sessions with Lynn. Each session, designed to meet my needs, deepens my practice. I’ve learned how to approach familiar poses given the quirks and particular challenges of my body, making my practice easier, safer and more effective. I’ve also learned new poses and modifications to add to my home practice. The whole experience, but particularly the one-on-one sessions, was a confidence-builder. Lynn is an excellent instructor and coach: knowledgeable, creative and encouraging. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
Lynn Geddes Wolling is a Master Teacher!! She truly TEACHES yoga, not just lead a class. She explains the mechanisms of the body systems as she demonstrates a pose and breaks down each pose into doable parts to guide your experience at your personal fitness level! I am so thankful to have found her ! Regardless of your experience with yoga ( I had NONE!), she inspires each student to strive for their personal best!
Beautiful Lynn, Practicing with, and learning from you was a high point for me in Savannah. It feels great to be in the Northeast again. I know that “wherever I go, there you are,” but, in all my travels, there have always been some places that I just feel resonant with and others I don’t. This one I do. The awakening of Savannah did not feel like an endeavor I could get my heart behind, but I see you doing it, with much wisdom and without ego. All blessings to you!
